The Netherlands Labour Inspectorate (NLA) has announced
to tighten controls on the use of diesel trucks.
In view of the harmful exhaust fumes, which are considered carcinogenic, and the availability of sufficient alternatives, the NLA stresses the need to reduce the use of diesel trucks as much as possible. According to BMWT Keur, the trade association of importers and suppliers of construction machinery, warehouse equipment, road building machinery and transport equipment, companies still using diesel lift trucks in their halls will most likely have to replace them within six months. 💼🌿
